Improved Performances and Points on the Board
It was deja vu for the U10s as they took on their opponents from last weekend, Prestwood Colts, again, this time in the first group match of the end of season Blue Division Cup.
With 12 points on offer from the day's four games it was important that the team got off to a good start against potentially the strongest team in the group ahead of the next two group games against Aylesbury FC / Haddenham Youth and Wycombe Saints.
The boys managed to secure 4 points from the games which puts them on a good footing for the remainder of the group campaign.
What was most pleasing was that the boys improved on both their performances and results from last week's development fixture against Prestwood. This is what was asked of them before the games and once again both teams produced in this regard.
Men of the Match for the day were Ben P who played excellently in goal for his team and Jacob O who continues to impress with his determination and continued improvement.
Next up for the U10s is the group game against Aylesbury FC / Haddenham Youth next Sunday, 11.00 kick off at Fairford Leys
