U12 and U16 Disabled/Special Needs team enjoy Inclusive Football Tournament in Maidenhead

The Under 16s went first, the squad was made up of Mobeen, Sam, Abdul, Joshua, Adhil, Asim, Mushqat, Lee and Jamie. The match was a real end-to-end affair with both teams having chances to score and some excellent passing football displayed by both teams. Whilst this game was going on the Under 12s went outside for a training session with the coach from the B&B FA.

The Under 12s were next up to play, the squad was made up of Ciaran, Cameron, Brad, Emma, Mohamed and Harry. This was the first time most of them had ever played in a match before and they all did really to work hard as a team and create a few good chances to score. Whilst this game was going on the U16s went outside for a training session with the coach from the B&B FA.

Both teams then had a second match against the respective Marlow teams. The Under 16s again won a very close match whilst the Under 12s pushed Marlow a lot harder second time around and even scored their first ever goal when Emma forced the ball over the line following a corner.

We would like to thank Jon Wood from the B&B FA for organising the event, Marlow for providing such friendly opposition, Dave Miller for bringing the U16s over on the minibus and to the parents for their constant support. Most of all though we want to thank the girls and boys who represented the club on the day, you all did yourselves proud and we hope that this is the first match of many for you all

The U12 and U16 Disabled/Special Needs teams are both on the lookout for additional players. We are also in need of someone to manage the U16 team at BOBi league games. Anyone interested can either show up to training, which is every Saturday from 9-10am at Ashmead Combined School or email juniors@aylesburyunitedfc.co.uk
