Good Morning for U12 Juniors

A few weeks prior to this game we travelled over to Prestwood for a friendly, found ourselves ahead at half time only to lose the game in the second half.

This was our chance to make up for the mistakes that cost us that day and we took the opportunity to do so brilliantly.

We welcomed back Josh H and Harry to the team whilst Connor continued in goal after his fine performance at Seer Green in our previous game.

Igor played alongside Harry at the back with Charlie just in front, Josh C started alongside Josh H in midfield, Kaelin and Andrew played on the flanks whilst Elliott played on his own up front.

We took the lead early on when Josh H broke free of the home defence to slot home.

Prestwood are a good, good side however and were soon level as we failed to clear our lines. This signalled a good period of play for the visitors but our defence held firm.

Half time saw James come on for Kaelin on the left and Aqib for Josh C in centre midfield. After a shaky start both subs settled down and contributed to a solid second half performance as a penalty from Charlie and a break away goal from Elliott at the end saw us secure an important victory when it comes to believing we can compete with the top sides in this division.
