League Season Ends on a High

The team captained by Kaelin S led the way with two victories and two clean sheets. Goals in the games came from Kaelin S (3) and Elliott B who were impressively backed up by Charlie D in goal, Nathan B, Jack R, Nelson N, Jacob O and Igor C.

The team captained by Andrew C made life a little bit more difficult from themselves as they came from 3-1 down in their first match to lead 4-3 before Chalfont equalised with what was in all honesty a deserved late equaliser. Goals in this game came from Harry G, Josh H (2) and Andrew C.

In their second game the boys again found themselves two goals behind before goals from Josh H (2) and Andrew C in an exciting and entertaining second half secured victory.

The three goal scorers were backed up by fine performances from Oliver F in goal, Ben P, Aqib Z and Josh C.

We would also like to thank Chalfont St Peter for their hospitality. The three fixtures we have had against them this season have all been very competitive and played in a good spirit.

Overall a very satisfying end to what has been a fantastic league season for the U10s. Finishing the season in 5th place in the division above the division we started the season in (as well as winning a cup on the way) is a massive achievement.

We now move on to play in tournaments at Wycombe Saints in April, Risborough Rangers in May and AUJFC in June before taking a short summer break prior to starting a new adventure in nine a side football at u11 level.
