Third Place Achieved
The U10s went away to Wycombe Saints and secured the 4+ points they needed to finish third in their Blue Division Cup group and secure a place in the 5th/6th place play off away versus Chalfont St Peter in the final mini conference game of the season this
The 6 points amassed came via one victory for both teams. The first victory was wrapped up by the team captained by Andrew C thanks to goals from the returning Harry G, Josh H (2) (including one fine solo effort) and a lovely chipped finish from Andrew C himself.
The second victory came from the team captained by Kaelin S as his hat trick and a goal from Charlie D secured the points.
The other two games played saw defeats against a Saints team boasting strong players all over the field but particularly in goal and up front. A brace from Kaelin S and a goal from Elliott B were unfortunately not enough to secure at least a point in their team's game against this particular team whilst a solitary Josh H goal in Andrew C's team's second game was merely a consolation as Saints combined taking their chances with some solid defending - the perfect combination for any team!
All in all four competitive, fair and entertaining games against a good side much improved from when we last met them in October
