A precautionary pitch inspection took place at 9.00am at which point conditions were perfect however come kick off time this all changed as heavy rain and a biting wind took hold.
With this in mind a quick warm up was followed by the squad splitting into two teams as usual, one managed by Pete, the other managed by Lee.
Pete's team had a real end to end game with their Bucks counterparts which saw the visitors take the honours by the odd goal in five. Kaelin S bagged a brace for the Ducks in this match to continue his fine goal scoring season.
Goals from Andrew C and Josh H saw Lee's team emerge victorious in their game and it could have been more were it not for an exceptional performance by the Bucks CC keeper.
As the first set of games came to a conclusion it was clear both players and spectators were not particularly enjoying themselves due to the continuing inclement conditions and a result the mutual decision was taken to abandon the final two games to allow everyone to get home to the dry and warm.
Hopefully conditions will be better next week when the U10s travel to Wycombe Saints in the league for a rematch of October's Yellow Division Cup Final.
