GAVINS TEAM
Game 1
Elliott (GK), Roch (DEF), Ilyas (DEF), Theo (MID), Taylor (MID), Junaid (MID), Harry (STK)
Goals: Theo

The first game was against there Junior team.
Elliott was good between the sticks and distributed the ball well, was brave on a few plays and saved well. Roch took up his best position in defence and has started to read the game well, He broke up play and put in some good tackles. Roch has started to make runs forward which shows his confidence is improving. Ilyas was the other defender and again played some great balls out, He has some quick feet and again likes to run forward and done it well. Theo took up mid and a little whippet down the wing, has some good skills and rewarded his hard work with a good goal. Junaid took up mid as well and his some good skills with his feet, he is never scared in making a run and again always tracks back and puts in a good tackle. Taylor took up mid as well and is always at the heart of everything, put in some great runs and some good tackles, was unlucky not to score with an effort outside the box. Harry took up strike and again run his heart out. He made some good runs forward with the ball made some good forward passing. Had a few chances to score but was unlucky not to.

Game 2
Harry (GK), Junaid (DEF), Roch (DEF), Theo(MID), Elliott (MID), Taylor (MID), Ilyas (STK)
Goals: Junaid 2

The boys played really well in this game, the passing and movement really coming together. Harry was between the sticks this time and always looks commanding in goal. Made some great saves and is always quick off his line to clear the danger. Junaid took up defence and was a real gem, played some great balls out and put in some great tackles. Always runs his heart out and deserved his 2 goals. Roch again in defence and this game improved on his last, made some great runs forward and was strong on the ball. Loved a little run forward but was always there to clear up. Theo again played really well, had some great little runs down the wing and some good crosses of the ball. Again another one that is starting to feel comfortable running with the ball. Elliott played really well in the centre, always looked up for the right pass and put in some good tackles, on occasions running with the ball and looking very comfortable. Taylor was again everywhere, putting in some great forward runs and some good passes to his teammates. He was never to worried about tracking back and helping out his defence. Ilyas took up strike for the game and his ball control and running with the ball was at times really good, again was always willing to track back and help his team, was unlucky not to score in the first half.

I was really impressed with the team this week. They've started to gel as a team and work for each other. Well done to you all.

STEVES TEAM

Sean, Josh, Olek, Tommy, Noah, Robbie, Cameron, Max, Zaid

GAME 1
The first game started with Sean making his debut in goal who had a good start making some good saves and his distribution of the ball was very good, Josh and Olek put in a good defensive performance making some crucial tackles and cleared the ball well under pressure. Tommy and Noah had a strong presence in midfield with some good passing and impressive runs forward both also getting some well timed tackles in. Robbie did well upfront making some good runs at goal getting a couple of great shots away he also showed good vision getting into some good positions and finding space. At half time Zaid came on for Josh, Max for Noah and Cameron for Robbie. Zaid filled in brilliantly showing some great timed tackles and caused the opposition problems with his quick runs down the wing. Max was a constant menace to the opposition and was constantly looking for the forward pass, Cameron caused problems up front making the opposition defenders constantly work and kept running for the whole half.

GAME 2
The second game started with Olek in goal commanding his area well and made a couple of top saves. Zaid and Josh had a busy game in defence but handled the pressure well making brilliant tackles for the whole game, calmly and confidently passing the ball forward. Tommy and Cameron were constantly running for their time on the pitch and getting some good forward passes in and tracking back and tackling when needed, Cameron also got a well deserved goal for the team after a brilliant pass from Robbie who even though spent time dropping back made the best of his runs and was unlucky not to score. Noah took the gloves in the second half and while making himself big in goal showed bravery and commitment coming off his line winning the ball as he collided with the defender more than once. Max came on for Tommy and as in the first game was strong in midfield constantly pressuring for the ball and looking for a good pass. Sean showed good ability up front and although spending time dropping back found good space when attacking.
A big thanks to all who were there in support today
