Elliot took up between the sticks and played well, made a few good saves and was unlucky with the goals. His distribution was really good at times. Junaid took up def on his own and bossed the back line, always putting in great effort and tackling hard. Theo took up midfield and started really well, always looking for the pass and making space for team mates. His hard work paid off with a great volley. Harry took up a midfield roll with Theo and again put in a lot of effort, broke up the play really well and again his hard work paid off and scored the winner for us. Lucas took up a striker roll and this boy was everywhere. His work effort was amazing and he made 2 of the 3 goals. Great skill with the ball. Ilyas came on as a sub and slotted into defence again with great skill with and without the ball, made some great tackles and made some great runs forward. Merouane came on and slotted into midfield and again played really well, made some great runs forward and tracked back well. His hard work paid off with a goal.

Harry went between the sticks this game and read the game really well. Team could of scored a few more if it wasn't for quick thinking and the Downley manager giving him praise at the end cheered him up. Josh took up defence and played really well, put some really great tackles in and pushed the play wide when he could. Put in some very important tackles. Junaid started where he finished off, running everywhere and tackling well. Broke down the play well and is always looking to attack. Elliot took up midfield and played really well, tackled really well and made some good passes forward. I thought his ball control was really good and passed the ball when he needed to. Theo took up midfield and ran everywhere was unlucky on a few occasions but his head never dropped, always running forward and looking to always score when his in the box. Merouane played up front this game and again played really well, tracked back well and tackled well but also made some great runs up front. Ilyas came on and slotted into midfield and played really well, played the ball out really well and made some great tackles. Never worried about tracking back and helping his team out.

2 great games today and boys played really well. Should be proud of themselves and we will go forward to the next game.

Cameron played between the sticks for this game and put in a good performance making some important saves and coming off his line well. Josh and Zaid had a good game making some crucial tackles, good passes and pushed forward when the opportunity arose. Noah and Bogusz showed good movement and footwork and stood strong in midfield. Bogusz had good vision with some brilliant passes and Noah showed a good work rate dropping back and tackling when needed. Aidan played a good attacking game showing good footwork and had some great runs and also getting shots away at goal. Tommy and Billy Broomhead got themselves in good positions on and off the ball and made some great runs into the box.

Tommy took the gloves in this match and had a great game reading play well and making some brilliant saves. Zaid and Cameron put in a solid performance in defence making crucial and crunching tackles and were quick to turn defence into attack. Lucas and Bogusz had a great partnership in midfield and didnt stop running for their time on the pitch with some solid tackling and quick footwork constantly causing problems for the opposition. Billy and Noah had a good all round performance playing in midfield and attack during their time on the pitch making great tackles and pressured well when trying to win the ball. Aidan made his presence felt making some great runs at goal with some excellent footwork and skill.
