They keep enjoying!!

Our growing Colts teams were at home today under the watchful guidance of Steve & Gavin for the first time on their own.

Players were split into two teams. Reports below for both teams.

Gavin's team: Harry, Roch, Robby, Taylor, Theo, Elliot and Noah

Game 1:
Harry wore the number 1 jersey for this game and again showed great position and pulled off some great saves, at times bravely coming off his line. Roch and Robbie played in defence and Roch is starting to read the game well and is very solid. Robbie has great distribution and is a great tackler. Theo and Taylor where in midfield and both played really well and got a goal each. Theo has some great touches and is always making runs down the line and into the box and finished well for his goal. Taylor is a work horse and made some cracking tackles and had some amazing passes. All rounded off with a 20 yard thunder bolt. Elliot was up front and made some great runs and has some good skills on the ball. Always tracking back to help his team when the opposition was on the attack.
Noah came on as a second half sub and played in midfield and worked his socks off tackling and distributing the ball well.

Game 2:
Elliot wore the number 1 in this game and pulled of some great saves, One standing out tipping over from a great free kick. He distributed the ball well and always looking for a quick break. Noah and Roch took on the defensive rolls and again both played well. Noah shows passion and was on occasions the last man and made some fantastic tackles. Roch was a rock again. Good distribution of the ball and great tackles when needed. Theo and Taylor took the midfield rolls. Theo again working hard and making runs where possible. Always bombing down the wings and chasing every ball. Taylor again was everywhere possible. Putting tackles in, making run and distributing the ball well. Harry was striker for this games and made some great runs and tracked back well when needed. Nearly scored with a header but went just wide. Robbie came on as a sub in the second half and again read the game well. Tracking back when needed and put in some good tackles.

All in all from the 2 games the boys all played well and put in 100% effort. They should all be proud of themselves like I was to watch them play. Well done!!

Josh and Tommy showed great ability in midfield making great tackles, making important passes and running their hearts out. Zaid came on at half time and made his presence felt with some good ball control and showed brilliant vision when passing the ball. Cameron and Billy Broomhead caused a lot of problems up front from the start with their runs and quick thinking when on the ball and both had good chances only stopped by some good keeping by the opposition Billy after taking a knock in a heavy tackle showed great bravery and played on.
